    4 oz.

I have one sad bag of frozen breastmilk left over in the freezer and it will be used today.  That’s the end of my freezer stash.  For the last few weeks, my supply has taken a huge sharp nosedive.  I have no idea why that happened as there were no changes to diet, no illness, nothing.  I used to easily pump and make enough milk to use the next day for the nanny, only dipping into the freezer stash for date nights and times when I’m away and Matt’s watching Natalie.  However, recently, we’ve had to pull a bag from the freezer every single day.  For my morning pump, I…

    Scrunchy face time!

This morning, she started making the funniest face — this scrunchy face! I think she’s just trying to be funny. While feeding her breakfast, I noticed her making this face…and I just had to make the face back at her and she’d repeat. It was hilarious. Last night, I gave her a bath for the first time in the regular tub. She was probably able to do this for awhile but I just liked keeping her in one place…so last night, I experimented and took out the baby tub and just had her sit in the tub. She loved it and was moving all over the place, crawling, pulling herself…

    weekend wrapup

The weekend started off really nice — you can tell spring is right around the corner!  Saturday had a subtle chill to it but overall, it was sunny and it felt great to be outside.  Late morning, we took a stroll with the intent of checking out the nearby Bryant Park…but then kept walking when Matt said that someone mentioned another park nearby.  We quickly looked it up on our phone and found ourselves at View Ridge Park which was awesome!  They had a nice set of swings so we put Natalie in the swing for the first time!  She seemed to do well although she seemed more distracted by…

    Stroller shopping

We have a stroller.  A really awesome one (the Uppababy Vista).  It did us well for a long time, particularly when Natalie was still in the infant seat.  I was carrying that stroller all over the place…but then again, it was only the wheels and may as well have been a snap-n-go.  Then Natalie graduated from the infant car seat and I need to now use the actual stroller seat attachment…and oh boy, this stroller is uber heavy now!  It’s a cool stroller but I can barely lug it into my trunk! In 1.5 months, we’ll be off on a cruise.  One of the top tips I heard was to…

    In this last month…..

wow, how did a month fly by since my last post?  I hate it when so much time goes by since I’ll have to rush through updates.  Oh well. Updates on Natalie New things with Natalie in this last month include: we think her first word may be “cat”.  It may also be “mum mum” (meaning the snack, not dear me)  Although for awhile now, she’s been mouthing the consonants “da da” and “ma ma”, she’s never really associated either with me or Matt…but whenever she sees Misha or Zuki now, she stops, stares and makes a very distinct “ca-a-a…” sound she’s in an awful playful hitting phase.  Whenever anyone…
